ABOUT ME
Jessa Crisp, MA, NCC, LPC
Do you feel like past trauma, negative experiences, and anxiety rule your life? Or maybe you see other people who have gone through hard things and are still able to experience joy, leading you to feel hopeless in your chasm of pain. It’s okay to take steps towards your journey of discovering what healing might look like for you and the person you are becoming.
I see counseling as a compassionate and collaborative process where we walk through the hard things together—which means that you no longer need to face these struggles alone. Through the right approach, you too can experience joy, clarity, and freedom to live the life you have always wanted.
Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings, internal beliefs, and experiences that make it hard for you to function and seek out new ways of coping and living beyond your past!
Location
Due to only be credentialed to see clients in Colorado, I am unable to take out of state requests. My office is in MSC Counseling Center located at 7375 Adventure Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80923.
Approach
Drawing from psychodynamic, CBT, and attachment theories, I use an integrative approach to understand your life experiences and how they have lead to your feeling lost, confused, or overwhelmed, and ultimately seeking therapy. “Healing is rarely an event, a singularity we can point to. It is a process, an unfolding over time, a turning toward the place of injury for as long as it is needed.”
